„The idea of being famous might have been a dream I had when I was 10, but it's not the dream I have now at 34,“ Sia Furler admitted recently in an interview. Thereby with the last album
„Some People Have Real Problems“ as well as with the attendant tour the native-born Australian won one laurel after another. And it would be more than peculiar if she will not impress the critics and fans with her new album „We Are Born“, which will be released in spring 2010, because once you let the woman with the blonde bob into your heart you cannot let her go again.
Sia, who started her career as a singer in the rockabilly band of her parents and who was part of a Jazz-Funk combo at the age of 17, left Australia when she turned 20 and found her new home in London. There, in the British metropolis she recorded her debut album „Healing Is Difficult“ which was released in 2001. Four years later not only her second longplayer „Colour The Small One“ succeeded, but she also moved to Los Angeles. Nowadays the 34 year old, who in Germany became well-known already when taking part in three albums of the band Zero 7, lives in New York.
