Sia, who started her career as a singer in the rockabilly band of her parents and who was part of a Jazz-Funk combo at the age of 17, left Australia when she turned 20 and found her new home in London. There, in the British metropolis she recorded her debut album „Healing Is Difficult“ which was released in 2001. Four years later not only her second longplayer „Colour The Small One“ succeeded, but she also moved to Los Angeles. Nowadays the 34 year old, who in Germany became well-known already when taking part in three albums of the band Zero 7, lives in New York.
