The icelandic trio was one of the wildest acts to play Eurovision Song Contest. A statement with a big drop height, but everyone who has seen Hatari perform their apocalyptic, anti-capitalistic single „Hatrið mun sigra“ must admit that you’ll rarely see something similar. The Hatari sound is best described as a wild bastard of industrial, goth and hymnlike pop sequences – unsettling yet fascinating and we haven’t even started talking about their Mad-Max-meets BDSM party outfits. Hatari are far from being a a one-hit wonder, what their new single „Spillingardans“ shows in a way that even a Trent Reznor could probably enjoy.
This August we’ll now finally have the chance to see Hatari live in Germany for their first ever show in Berlin.
