The Franco-American Uele Lamore is driven by curiosity. She is always exploring the infinite possibilities that music opens up for her. Her work spans genre boundaries and doesn't care about compartmentalizations like classical or jazz. She writes soundtracks for feature films and documentaries just as she does for theater or dance companies. She has studied classical music, jazz and rock, composition and conducting. She plays the electric and acoustic guitar with virtuosity. In short, she approaches music from as many different directions as possible to create something new and previously unheard.
Her next project is the release her self-produced long record, "Loom". On this ambitious project, Uele Lamore fuses indie pop with alternative music to create what she herself calls "the model of a symphonic poem." For this, Lamore collaborates with a whole range of musicians. For example, Thomas Hugenel on bass is also responsible for the programming, the London Contemporary Orchestra plays the orchestral parts, Silly Boy Blue, Gracy Hopkins and Cherise are involved as guest vocals. What is also very important for Lamore is the realization of the album on stage. For this she is going on tour with a five-piece band.
