The young singer, songwriter and actor from Leicestershire can without a doubt be labelled a natural. She wrote her first song at the age of 8, signed a majordeal with 13 and ever since the release of her debut EP “Head Space” not just music journals are keen on her career.
She then showed maturity by not pushing for a quick album release but instead taking a slow start and releasing strong singles. The groovy r’n’b pop song No pressure speaks about exactly this: „Someone fills up your diary / Can you just turn up on time, please / And make something we can vibe with no pressure / Fifteen hundred for the studio but no pressure / No pressure no pressure.“ With her project “Diary of Me” she released a sort of album by uploading a new video every two weeks. But these acoustic songs don’t do her justice. With her single “Sober” she once more proved that her voice fits best to a dark funky bassline.
The newly released “I Wish I Missed My Ex” as well as the Little Simz featured “Proud Of Me” show us that cotemporary r’n’b will be her course for the future. This November she’ll go on her first proper tour throughout Germany. Showcasing her voice and songwriting talent at the below dates.
