It has been a little quiet around Patrick Watson in the recent years. His moving album "Love Songs For Robots" was released in 2015 and had something to offer for everyone, from carefully orchestrated ballads like "Alone In This World" to avant-garde six-minute acts like "Turn Into The Noise".
Since then, there have been a few concerts - with his band, which is called Patrick Watson as well, but also solo. In 2016 there was a classic, wonderfully composed movie soundtrack to the best-selling film " The 9th Life Of Louis Drax and with "Melody Noir" and "Mélancolie" (a duet with the French-Canadian Safia Nolin) two new tracks, which he published in 2018.
Now the hope is growing that Patrick Watson will return to the stages next year with new music. After honoring the Haldern Pop Festival in August, where he is a loved permanent guest, he announces a solo show in Berlin's Metropol in the spring of next year.
