Unfortunately Kim Gordon's concerts in Berlin (June 8, 2020) and in Cologne (June 9, 2020) have to be cancelled due to the current situation relating to the corona virus.
If and when there will be make-up dates for the German shows is not yet foreseeable. Tickets can be refunded at point of purchase.
Hailed as “the art star queen of New York" by The New York Times and “one of the true influencers of American cool" by Billboard, Kim Gordon has confirmed another first in a four decade career as a creative pioneer in the realms of art, music, literature and fashion: her first ever international headlining solo tour.
In October 2019 Kim Gordon released her first solo record: „No Home Record“ which she recorded in LA with producer Justin Raisen (Angel Olsen, Charli XCX) and pays homage through the title to the Chantal Akerman film of the same name. The album is both a return and a start because when Kim Gordon started out making music in the 80s she used a guitar, a drum computer and lyrics she partially took from adverts. She used similiar ingredients for „No Home Record“. In her lyrics she blends in cultural criticism along with her own sense of humor and attends the more and more tense relationship of identy and pretence. As part of her „No Home Tour“ Kim Gordon will play two shows in Germany in June.
